Mission & Vision
The purpose of AFVI Ltd is to make the City of Abuja, and by extension, Nigeria, “the world center of film and entertainment excellence”. The aims and objectives of AFVI Ltd include, but not limited to the following:
- -> An ultra-modern Filmmaking and Entertainment Village that will be a pacesetter in Africa.
- -> A place where filmmakers from all over the world can come for Pre-production, Production, Post Production, and the Premiering of their films.
- -> Dynamic effort to improve Nigerian film industry, “Nollywood”; multiply its job-creation capacity, and raise its standard, so that its products can compete all over the world. This industry is estimated to be a potential $10 billion business at full production capability.
- -> Production and Coproduction of films for international release, where every community has access to watch films in cinema houses.
- -> Capacity building activities such as Workshops in all skill areas of filmmaking in the Nigerian film industry - in order to raise the standard of filmmaking in the Nigerian film industry, thus improving its capacity to earn foreign exchange for its products, as well as to match its rating as the second most producing film industry in the world, over Hollywood and next only to Mumbai, India

- -> Building a world class Amusement and Theme Park anchored on filmmaking activities will combine Nigerian [African] and other foreign popular themes to attract tourists from all over world.
