Abuja Film Village is designated as a Satellite Settlement in the suburb of Abuja in the Abuja Master Plan. It is straddled by OSEX [Outer Southern Expressway] and easily reached from the Airport. As the site of the AFVI, the Film Village Initiative has given the area a focused development anchored on Film, Media, Entertainment and Tourism.


AFVI intends to construct Two or three (8) lane roads to the Village. This will make commuting easy for visitors who visit the village and thereby reducing traffic congestion along the Abuja Airport express road.
